Steering Redesign

As a final project for MSPE 297, Intro to Motorsports Modelling, my team and I were tasked with redesigning the steering system for a 2009 Joyner Dune Buggy in SolidWorks. We were given basic dimensions for mounts and pictures of some other components, but the rest was up to us to design and assemble.

I was in charge of designing the steering box itself and assembling the final product together, as well as conducting the motion study. This project strengthened my skills in solid modelling, as well as my understanding of SolidWorks assemblies and motion studies.
