Camaro CFD Analysis

As a part of Purdue's VIP (Vertically Integrated Projects) program, my team and I were tasked with creating a conceptual aero package for a car to use at the Pikes Peak Hillclimb. My team chose a first gen Camaro as the base, and chose to follow the Open rulebook. 

I'm the team leader for this project, and we just completed our first simulation of the unmodified Camaro in STAR CCM+ as a baseline. Here are some numbers:

Iterations: 4000

Coefficient of Drag: 0.33141

Coefficient of Lift: 0.2040278

Efficiency: 0.6156

We are currently making modifications in SolidWorks such as an air dam, side skirts, a rear wing, and other minor tweaks to improve the performance of the car.
